Diane is the head chef and has worked at Northfield Manor since 2005. She is ably supported by the catering team who ensure that residents are provided with a wide range of freshly cooked meals, all of which are prepared and cooked on site. Ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible and some fruit and vegetables are even grown in our own garden. Our kitchen has been awarded the highest Environmental Health rating of 5.
Our menus offer wholesome and appetising options, we recognise that some people have specific dietary requirements and these are catered for on an individual basis.
In order to provide the widest culinary experience for our residents we also have our special ‘travel around the world’ menus, which enable residents to enjoy sampling different cuisines.
In addition to main meals, snacks are available throughout the day including biscuits, sandwiches, selection of cakes & scones and cheese & biscuits.
